A shalom zachor poster goes up in shul and in the neighbourhood the week a boy is born, and it goes out on WhatsApp the same night. It has to be clear from across the room: the family name, the address, and the time on Friday night.
Every shalom zachor poster on this page is a real Bal Simcha design. Open one, type the names and address in Yiddish, Hebrew or English with the built-in Hebrew keyboard, see the finished poster, and download it right away. The same design works as a printed poster and as a phone-size image.
What goes on a shalom zachor poster
Most zucher posters carry a short opening line, the words שלום זכר, the father’s name (often with the grandfathers’ names), the address, and the time — usually after the seudah on Friday night. Each of those is its own field on our designs, so the wording lines stay in place while you type your own details.
Poster or invitation?
A poster is the public notice that goes on the wall; an invitation is sent to family and friends. Many families use the same design for both. If you want the card version with a bris or vachnacht line, see our shalom zachor invitations and bris invitations.
Print it or send it
Download the finished file to print at home or at a print shop, or share it straight to WhatsApp. For $12.99 more you can turn it into an invite link with the address on Google Maps.
